ASAP stands for:

Act Support Alcohol Prevention for youth, standing together.

THE MISSION

ASAP mission is to create a clear community consensus that under age drinking is illegal, unhealthy and unacceptable.

THE GOALS

Community intervention:

  • Encourage teenagers and parents participation through volunteering.
  •  To bring people in the community together to prevent underage drinking.
Conference/Symposium will take place this January 29, 2018 in Managua, Nicaragua

ASAP for youth focuses on educating the parents and kids.

We need to know that in many cases the lack of knowledge; the lack of maturity among teens is a major problem.

THE PROBLEM

Adolescents under the influence of alcohol are apt to act impulsively. With their inhibitions loosened, they take risk they ordinarily wouldn’t consider.

Binge drinking themselves into comas

All too often, the result is tragic if they cause drunk driving crashes, other may also be killed.

Parents: You have a large impact on your children’s decision about alcohol.

When teens feels they have their parents approval to drink alcohol, they tend to drink more -and more often- outside the home. What seemed harmless at first often results in tragic consequences that even parent do not anticipate.

Alcohol remains the most heavily abused substance by Americans youth.
We can no longer ignore what alcohol is doing to our children. This is a call to action.

UNDERAGE DRINKING IS EVERYBODY’S PROBLEM AND ITS SOLUTION IS EVERYONE’SRESPONSABILITY.
